Queen Rania Al Abdullah Hospital for Children, is the first specialized medical facility for children in Jordan. It is characterized by a modern, advanced building within the highest international standards, in addition to distinguished medical technology and medical staff who are at the highest levels of scientific excellence and competence.
The hospital provides its professional medical services to children in Jordan and from Arab countries who suffer from chronic and incurable diseases.
The hospital is focusing on various organ transplant operations such as bone marrow transplantation, kidney transplantation, liver transplantation, cochlear transplantation, in addition to laparoscopic operations for children of all ages. To date, 50 bone marrow transplant operations have been performed, and the success rate has reached 80%, which is comparable to international rates. In addition, the hospital capacity is 200 beds divided into departments: department of neurology and neurophysiology, nutrition, digestive system, thoracic system, intensive care, ophthalmology, endocrinology, metabolic diseases, hematology and oncology, and department of nephrology.
The neurological division at Queen Rania Children’s Hospital provides treatment for neurological disorders, including spasticity and epilepsy, headaches, weakness, speech and gait disorders, and tics.
The oncology department treats about 100 new cases of cancer in children from Jordan and abroad: Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Libya and other countries.
